My recent two series, “Octobabies from Outer-space” & “Tranimals” explore my fascination with other worldly beauty and exterritorial cuteness. I take inspiration from action vinyl and vintage toys of my childhood as well as Street and Pop art of various eras. I then like to infuse them with a nostalgic sense of dark glamour and alien corruption. These may be creatures that may have sprung from the bottom of an alien ocean and the mutant drag queens here to protect us. Or maybe these masked vixens don’t have the best intentions after all? Maybe these squid-babies are here to warm up after their journey through outer-space? Good or Evil, the encrusted beauty is sure to captivate it’s viewer.
